Stagnation often feels like desperation. Everything feels blocked, like nothing is flowing our way.

We pray, but it feels like we’ve been abandoned, like no one’s listening.

We ask for change, and then panic when things actually start changing. The truth is, we want change on our own terms but that’s not how life works.

I call this series “New Ways of Seeing”. Its that moment when we shift our perception of how we see things, how we see people or how we see life.

Each person might look at something and have a complete different interpretation of what they feel, sense or perceive of the person, object or situation.

You as well, might interpret something one way at a given time, and change the way you perceive it months later.

This change of perception is what inspired me to create these wild animals in a way that I perceive them. In these paintings, they blend in with other natural elements like flowers or the sky. It is my representation of how I’ve changed the way I perceive things around me and how most of them are just reflections of my inner world.

The amount of truth & beauty I see in the world can only be measured by the depth I’ve uncovered in my own truth and beauty.

I used to think like this. That if it didn’t flow it wasn’t for me. That everything needed to feel lighter and that it would come to me if i only meditated for it.

Sometimes we get trapped into these spiritual beliefs that we forget one of the most important things we must do to make sh*t happen: take action.

I dont think we need to struggle or that things need to feel hard to achieve them, but i do believe in a delicate balance of intention + aligned action.

Aligned action is basically doing things that are actually getting you to where your soul wants you to go.

Doing mindless actions just cause we *think* we need to do them or because someone told is it would be good for us, instead of tuning in to your inner compass (intuition/higher self)

That’s when you end up throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something sticks. It only leaves you drained, burnt out, and wondering why nothing feels aligned.

Things are meant to require effort, especially our dreams. If things were just super easy, everyone would have it.

I was OBSESSED with finding my purpose in my early 20s. I searched everywhere in courses, coaches, ceremonies, you name it. There was something inside me that NEEDED to know.

In one yopo ceremony I thought I found it: I saw myself teaching and selling art all over the world. But deep down, I didn’t believe it was possible. So I kept searching, trying to fill a void that could’ve been resolved years earlier.

It wasn’t until I was fed up that I finally gave art a real try. That’s when I realized that art had always been around me. Back in college, a friend paid me to paint his self-portrait for art class. I didn’t see it then, but money was already flowing to me through art.

And here’s what I’ve learned: purpose isn’t something you “find” out there. It’s something you *claim* inside of you. The signs are always there, but you have to trust yourself enough to act on them.

That’s what I help you do now: stop second-guessing yourself, stop postponing your dreams, and finally make the decisions, like raising your prices, starting that project, or choosing the path you already know is yours.

Spiritual people get this wrong all the time and its pissing people off 😄

If you’ve been told “you’re projecting” by someone because you told them something you were observing, most likely its not that you are exactly what you’re calling them out on, this person is just reflecting whats unresolved within yourself.

Here’s the trick: if they get offended by you telling them that, then you are also serving as a “mirror” to their wounds.

In this case both are playing roles on each other to help each other grow from this experience.

The problem is thinking that we are exactly what we see in others and thats not true.

This piece came to life in the middle of my own transition. What I thought would take me a couple of weeks, ended up taking months.

There are some pieces that I just dont try to push to be done. At other times I push myself to work on a piece but this one was different. There was something that wanted to be communicated and it required my time and presence, as well as what I was going through.

“Renacimiento” is a complete death of a “self” and a rebirth of a new one. A complete metamorphosis of the identity.

So as I was painting this collection, I felt everything.

This piece “Garden of Becoming” is sacred. Its a communion with the earth and the heavens, the void and Creation itself.

There are so many symbols throughout that is left to your personal interpretation. As I always share, each painting has an individual message for you, and only you can decipher that messafe.

For me, this piece is a visual invocation of patience, prayer, vision, action and trust.

when you are experiencing a pattern in life, something you can’t quite understand, even after years of therapy, that means there’s something deeper to uncover and release.

Some emotions get trapped in “time and space” and if the issue wasn’t resolved, its going to live in your present moment at all times.

Sometimes we inherit emotions from our parents and lineage, other times its from our childhood or past lives, or from the collective.

often, we go to a session thinking that what our issue is about is a specific topic, in this case my client thought she was stuck in her job and she probably needed to move because it wasn’t clicking for her how she couldnt attract someone who loved and cared for her and also be in a place she felt fulfilled.

what we discovered was a deep child wound. at times we think those “wounds” could be nonsense, or “not that big of a deal”. but the child who experienced that feels (felt) different. I say “feels”, because the “movie” or issue is still present in the NOW moment of my client.

Until we see the issue, bring awareness to the wound, change the perception and understanding of the wound, then it dissolves and integrates so it no longer takes control of your life.

from that moment, there is a release, some people cry, others laugh, others just have a plane “aha” moment.

from then on, my client can see life through different filters, ones where she loves and accepts herself just as she is. Therefore attracting people, friends and partners alike, that truly accept and love her just as she is.

What the world needs most right is art and creativity. We have bee conditioned to be left brain dominated, the part of the brain that is extremely logical, rational and sees in parts.

Have you ever wondered why theres such little budget for art and music in schools? Why art has been diminished as “hobbies” and non-prestigious careers?

Because a larger system wants to keep people as workers (slaves coughs*). A left brain dominated person doesnt and cant see the bigger picture, it follows rules and sticks to the norm because its designed that way.

A person with a balanced brain can see the whole picture. Begins to tune in to intuition, to the inner voice within and starts questioning the norm, it starts going out of the lines and stops following rigid structures because its designed that seeks growth and improvement. A balanced brain can see through the BS and doesnt follow along like a sheep.

Its the reason i do what i do, because i know deep in my soul that art is the path to a balanced world, so people can awaken from the illusion played by a rotten system that seeks its own benefit, forgetting about what is really important to us.

Patterns don’t repeat in your life because of bad luck. They repeat because your subconscious is still running on old programming.

No, you’re not “cursed.” And no, you don’t need 50 ceremonies or another quick-fix course. What you need is to release the frozen emotions keeping you stuck in the same loop.

Blockages can come from your childhood, your ancestors, or even past lives.

And since your subconscious only knows the present, those old emotions feel alive today, shaping your decisions, your confidence, and your sense of purpose.

I know what it feels like to question your worth or to watch the same story play out again and again. And I also know the freedom that comes when you finally release what’s been weighing you down.

As an artist, i think its my duty to explain it visually. This is based on over a decade of study, bridging science, mysticism, multiple modalities, and my own visions.

You don’t accumulate “points” in the “heavens” the more you do these practices. That’s not how it works.

I used to think that the more I practiced, the closer to “enlightenment” I got. The more I meditated, the more yoga or ceremonies I attended, the more I would evolve.

It wasn’t until I realized I was trapped in another form of illusion, trying to escape this reality to be somewhere else.

That’s the biggest problem, being in the “higher realms,” super “elevated,” when the true work is being more down to earth.

It was a crisis because I couldn’t sustain anything. Even though I was disciplined, I lacked basic emotional intelligence, would flip off around people, couldn’t sustain relationships, and felt heavy emotions like resentment or pride.

Like I said, I LOVE these practices and they are super powerful, but they are just tools not the real work.

The real work requires getting dirty, going through the mess, confronting what we’ve been avoiding for a long time.

Even if you have a profound connection in a ceremony, if you’re not able to truly and deeply understand what happened and why it happened (or at least get close to understanding), there’s no real growth. How can someone learn a lesson without actually understanding what caused it in the first place so that the issue is not repeated anymore?

Miracles and changes do happen, but when the person has reached a certain level of acceptance and maturity. And you don’t get that through superficial practices. It comes from depth. It’s like strengthening a muscle.

The inner work is also part of cultivating the connection to your inner voice, the Creator itself, so you have an inner compass you can listen to at any time that will guide you better than any guru or master can.

Because only you know your truth. No one can tell you what’s best for you.

I’ve heard this many times in my classes or from people that you need to be super precise, that you need to have patience, that your colors need to be super clean, etc…

Theres a saying in spanish (para los gustos los colores) “different strokes for different folks”.

Guess what, im messy AF and i used to be ashamed of that because id look at other peoples art and thought mine needed to be pristine, clean, sharp and soft looking.

When in reality, i like the messiness, i like it when my colors look “muddy”.

And its all a matter of taste, and thats what makes your art different and unique. Some will hate your art, and some will absolutely love it!

The most important thing here is that you ENJOY the process and that your soul expresses itself how it wants to!

Trust me, people can sense that and feel it in your art. If you’re too tight just because you want to mimick someone else when in reality your art is not like it, its gonna feel overworked and not really YOU.

Who cares if it doesnt look like Juanita’s art that colors look sharp and clean. You are not Juanita, you are you.

So in this process of painting with watercolors, at first its gonna feel awkward and not good, but as you add layers it all starts coming together.

In my course I teach you color theory so you can blend and mix colors how you want it, so you can paint quick when you are traveling and you can eventually find the style you love, whether that is soft and clean (if thats what you want) or messy and wild, if thats who you are.

In this mystical garden, one woman touches the soil planting a seed or perhaps uncovering what was once hidden. She is grounded, present, in deep communion with the Earth.

Another woman, eyes closed in prayer, holds a fruit visualizing the dream that is ready to be materialized.

🌸 Crowns of flowers adorn them: symbols of inner sovereignty.
🦅 An eagle flies above, a divine messenger of Great Spirit.
🐺 A spirit wolf stands behind them, silent and protective.
🍌 fruits and other plants surround them as reminders that nature is always collaborating in our becoming, its always abundant.

This painting is about cycles of transformation: The inner death and rebirth we experience again and again.

Renacimiento begins.. 🌹🌷

Its a shedding of all the versions that weren’t you but that helped you find the one that is.

You’ve gone through the pain of surrendering, releasing and realizing these past versions, the ones built to survive, to please or be accepted, cannot come with you to your next chapter.

Yet they stay with you as part of your story, that part that gives you power and strength. As roots that taught you how to bloom.

You are being initiated and prepared to step into your truth, to walk your path with reverence and courage.

This is the moment your old identity melts, opening the way for your true self to rise, remembering that:

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing pieces of this journey:

1. I refused to have a 9-5 job even though i studied business with marketing & psychology in college

2. I was lost for most of my 20s and didn’t find my passion until my 30s

3. I committed to be a professional artist till i was 32

4. Ive launched different businesses and most of them failed

5. I have a part time job to pay my bills and keep my nervous system feeling safe, until my current art business makes more than enough to sustain me.

6. I don’t have any kids and don’t plan on having any soon

7. I don’t own a house and I’m not interested in getting one unless is for investing

8. I constantly doubt if art is actually my purpose even though deep down i know it is

9. I had no idea what i was doing with my art business until this year.

10. I feel guilty whenever I’m working on my business and not spending time with my partner, friends or family, but when i spend time with them i feel guilty about not working on my business

11. I get frustrated for all the years I’ve hustled and I’m not where i thought i would be by now

12. I have multiple interests and i wish I had more time to pursue them all

It hurts before it heals…

There’s a moment in the journey that feels like dying.Not in body, but in identity.

The old version of you starts to fade.
And even though it no longer fits… you grieve her.

You grieve the parts of you that once felt safe. The habits that kept you small. The masks that earned you love and the silence that once protected you.

And now you’re being asked to release it all. To release the comfort even if it feels painful. To release the certainty even if you feel doubt. To release the story even if you once loved what it told.

So you can step into what’s true.

This rebirth isn’t always soft and pleasurable.
It’s confusing, excrutiating and sometimes lonely.. .

But on the other side is clarity. On the other side there’s opportunity and creation.

On the other side theres Divine guidance, asking you to remember that its always there.

On the other side is trust that what if being asked of you is for the highest good of you abd everyone you love.

You weren’t born to be digestible. You were born to be free.

There comes a moment in your journey where pretending no longer feels right. Where hiding, shrinking, or performing just… stops working.

There are going to be times when you’ll dislike the version of yourself you became: the one built from fear and survival. Because deep down you were afraid of becoming who you truly are.

And in the process of finding your essence and reconnecting with your unique self, you’re going to confront a lot of fears, judgments, and old voices.

The ones that told you you weren’t enough.
That you weren’t capable or that you should be this or that to be accepted.

To shed all of that, you’ll need to find the courage to observe your shadows and feel the things you never gave yourself permission to feel.
And when you let those emotions move through you, they no longer possess you.

That’s when your essence emerges.
That’s when the real you starts to rise and guide the way.

And yes, this process will require you to release a lot of people, places and versions of yourself. You won’t resonate with what once felt like home.

But that’s exactly where the shift happens.
That’s when you stop abandoning yourself.

⚠️ I have a warning for you, though:

When you reach this point, you’ll be pulled in every direction.
Your past self will fight to keep you safe.
Your family or old friends may try to pull you back, not out of malice, but because your growth threatens their comfort. And your present self might freeze in the unknown.

But there’s also another voice, the one from your highest self whispering to you.
She speaks through your intuition and she wants you to rise.

To hear her, you’ll need silence, ritual, nature and Presence.

And when you do hear her… you’ll finally know the way forward.

This process takes a LOT of courage.
It takes devotion and a whole lot of love.

But I promise you, it’s totally worth it.

I didn’t realize how often I abandoned myself just to be accepted by others.

We are taught to betray ourselves quietly in the name of love, family, community and tradition.

Growing up I thought I was being kind, but I was disappearing slowly to keep others comfortable.

And maybe you did too…

Now they dont recognize you because they met you in survival.

Some will say “you’ve changed”, but you are meant to.

They cant recognize you now in your wholeness, in your truth and your essence.

The truth is, you were never meant to stay in that version of you. You only wore masks because you had to, to feel accepted, to belong and feel safe.

But this chapter isnt about them, or who they thought you should be.

Its about who you came here to be.

Art saved me… 🥹✨🦋

I remember it so clearly. I was sitting in my grandparents’ living room, completely empty, no motivation to keep living.

I asked myself, or maybe God (even though I wasn’t sure if there was a ‘God’).

I asked this Source: “If there’s anything that can keep me alive… please tell me. What is it?”

And then I heard a whisper:

“Art.”

Those 3 letters felt like someone saying ‘stay’ when all I wanted was to go.

I felt relief, like I was finally able to catch some air after drowning for too long.

I immediately took a piece of wood I had laying around, and started painting mandalas.

Since that day I knew art would be a part of my life forever. It was my medicine, my hope and my purpose. ✨🤍
